Come join us when TV pioneer and star, “Miss Betsy Palmer” appears as the enchanting hostess of our educational and entertaining Spring Spectacular.  Mickey Rooney was the top box office attraction from 1939–41. Besides his celebrated movie career, Rooney successfully starred in vaudeville, radio, television and Broadway.
For nearly nine decades he was a dynamo of talent who displayed a natural gift for acting, singing, dancing, comedy, drama and more in over 300 films throughout his lifetime. Set in the year 1963 this all-new production will highlight delightfully nostalgic songs and rollicking comedy!

It Takes a Team to Build a Village Special Exhibit

Experience the story of the reconstruction of Stony Brook Village in a Spring and Summer long exhibit on the building of the Stony Brook Village Center!

On display will be historical documents, photos, original prints, sketches, memorabilia and much more.  This special exhibit starts on May 21 and runs through September 7.

“To Spy or Not to Spy: That is the Question!”

Experience a theatrical performance showing the creation of the Culper Spy Ring right from the heart of Setauket’s history, the Brewster House, c. 1665.  This was the home of Joseph Brewster, first cousin to Caleb Brewster, a member of the Culper Spy Ring.
Performance presented by the Youth Corps Theater Troupe, a teen volunteer group dedicated to stewardship projects in history and ecology.

Guests will also receive a special tour of the Brewster House by our teen docents!

Children are encouraged to attend!

4th Annual LEGO Building Contest & Exhibit

Calling all Lego lovers and creative minds!  

Enter our 4th Annual Lego Building Contest to show off your creations and gain a chance to win a prize!  Contestants must submit an entry form by Monday, September 5 to reserve a spot.  See our flyer for full details.

Come see all the amazing creations on display from Saturday, September 17 thru Sunday, October 16 to vote for your fan favorite with your paid admission ballot!  Exhibit admission is $4 adults and $2 for children.

There will be a special Celebration on October 16th, where prizes will be awarded and all creations will need to be picked up.  The fan favorite will be announced at the end of the competition on our Stony Brook Village Center Facebook page.
