“A Place to Hang Your Hat” Senior Program
Stony Brook, NY – In a unique collaborative effort between WMHO, Stony Brook Medicine, the Long Island State Veterans Home and The Jazz Loft, special programming is being offered to seniors. “Young At Heart” will offer the proven benefits of live music, movement and art.
Next in this series will be “A Place to Hang Your Hat” which takes place April 19 at WMHO’s Educational & Cultural Center and will feature the Mandala technique coloring experience. The word Mandala comes from Sanskrit, the ancient language of India, which translates as “sacred circle.” This unique program gives the participant art experience along with creativity and companionship.

Programs are sponsored by Stony Brook Medicine, Stony Brook University, CVS Health, The Bristal Assisted Living, Aging Flower and Village Chemists of Setauket.
